Why do human beings love to leave their mark on this earth? The only legacy that other species seem to leave behind are feces, fossils, and fossil fuels. As humans we leave our mark on everything. We tag up history with our accomplishments (or mis-accomplishments), tag satellites with our images, cave walls with our primitive (or modern for that era) art, streets with our graffiti, and bathroom stalls with our love for one another.
